Instructions from New York Pennsylvania Station via New Jersey Transit to Morristown New Jersey. Train trip time is approximately 1 hour from New York - Morristown. Cab ride from Morristown to our offices is approximately 15 minutes. Ticketing for all interstate rail travel is located at Penn. Station. For the most direct access, one should enter at the northeast corner of 31st St. and 8th Avenue. The New Jersey Transit ticket area is located at the bottom of the stairs, to the left. The ticket counter for New Jersey Transit is located adjacent to the AMTRAK ticket counter, on the left hand side. One can either use the ticket window or the electronic ticket machines for NJ Transit which are located on the left hand side of the NJ Transit ticket line. If using the NJ Transit ticket machine the departing code for Penn Station is 000 and the code for Morristown is 558. When arriving at Morristown there are taxi’s available at the exit of the Morristown train station. The address is 1099 Mt. Kemble Avenue. Select your departing station as NEW YORK Penn Station (not Newark Penn Station---they are different!). Select your destination station as Morristown. Select day of the week as Weekday. You will see the scheduled departure and arrival times. You will find it most convenient to choose a "MNE" train line which DOES NOT have any information listed under the transfer departure column, otherwise you will have to transfer trains. A sample schedule is shown below. Notice how the 08:18 AM train, which arrives at 9:20AM is direct (No Transfers) but on the 8:47AM train you must change trains at Newark Broad Street.
